My mom was an Avon lady. I remember those tiny sample tubes of lipstick. They looked like doll lipsticks.

I remember my mom having an "Avon Party" and "Tupperware Party".

I was an Avon Lady in the 90s and going door to door was a real waste of time. Not many women were staying home, they were either out at work or playing tennis. Most all of us spent more on buying stuff than selling it ;-)

My grandmother was an Avon lady for a while. Avon Products is still in existence and Avon ladies may still be making the rounds in your area, but I haven't seen one in years nor have I encountered the once-ubiquitous TV commercials.
