I have several of the 49-star flags in a do-it-yourself cut-them-apart roll. I've left the roll intact and in its original box.

There was a 49 star flag between 1959 and 1960. Hawaii didn't get its star until July 4, 1960.

Easy to spot with 6 x 8 star pattern ; still see one on holidays periodically

I remember this flag. My family still has one somewhere in storage
