My father was a Raiders season-ticket holder from the beginning, all the way back to when they played their home games on a field on a junior-college campus near downtown Oakland... Rickety portable bleachers like those of old high-school football stadiums, bigger, taller stands, and just for fun, even more rickety... A whopping 11,000 wooden bleacher seats! A high wind would threaten to blow the place down...
