TV / Radio
Back in the '50s and '60s, there were only three broadcast TV networks (plus Dumont, for a while) and no
cable networks. There were also local independent stations that tended to
show reruns, movies, children's programs, and cartoons. Overall, though,
the viewing choices were fairly slim. So we had much more of a shared
viewing experience than we encounter with today's wide range of entertainment
choices.

BTW, the other show was "Video Village", not "Value Village".
in a magical kingdom in the clouds..where things grew on
trees. And he and his musical friend "Miss Merry Note" had to
deal with the antics of their bumbling friends "Paul The Pirate",
"Mr.Leader" and "Floogle Fish".
The show was on sunday mornings on ABC TV and then
it was rerunned on NBC TV during the early 1960's.
Cartoon with insight, actual religious reference, and some of the best jazz of the times by Vince Guaraldi. Groundbreaking for TV in 1965!
I am very grateful. The extra info was also most welcome. I agree about Ms Cass.....she was a very funny woman.

As for Friendly Giant, Front Page Challenge, and some others you've mentioned, I guess I'm not that familiar with Canadian shows; I'll see what I can do.
But CHiPs went on the air in 1977, and thus lies somewhat out of the bounds of this web site.
And did you mean Paladin? In the States, at least, the show was called Have Gun Will Travel.
