Still have a tract of those homes a few blocks away from me. well, at least the ones that haven't been remodeled...  They look fantastic, ultra-modern, etc.  but glass is a lousy insulator and you need that, even in California.  Therefore, many have been totally remodeled or flat-out bulldozed and replaced.
