As a soldier traveling through airports, they loved to give me free books and freshly cut flowers for my green Army uniform. I noticed they asked for donations from civilians.

I used to see them at Santa Monica Beach back in the 70's. I was fascinated by the pony-tails & the little girls who got to wear heavy make-up.
