Coronet made the best Educational films, many of which are on YouTube. There were other companies too, and Encyclopaedia Britannica did an excellent series of educational films on how families in different European Countries live. I watch them all the time. (Yes, my name is Michael and I am a nerd).
Do you recall the funny scene in the 1967 film, "The President's Analyst", where Dr. Sidney Schaefer (James Coburn) is forced to watch a film that's very much like one of these Bell Labs productions? I had fond memories of that movie until I watched it again last year. It didn't age well.

What about the educational "horror movies" and slide shows that depicted the results of sexual promiscuity or unsafe driving:
the terrible disfigurement and dementia of tertiary syphilis;
drivers trapped in the mangled remnants of a car wrapped around a light post.
