Paul Ashley and Chuck McCann designed and built those puppets..Paul's wife was never involved with the creation of those beloved characters.

Dear Jeffa, Following Paul Ashley's passing in the fall of 1984.

Chuck McCann inheirited the puppets...I don't know if any film or
videotape footage of the puppets..still exsist? Hopefully? That rare
footage does survive.CrySmileUndecidedWink

Jeffa, could that husband and wife team be Syd and Marti Croft?

I once was able to identify the puppeteer that created those amazingly articulated
puppets on the "Let's Have Fun" show, but have since lost track. Was it a husband and wife team? What has happened to them, are there any
videos of them? I remember there being Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel. What has become of there wonderful puppets ?

There was no second-line humor with him and his puppets, just straight ahead kid stuff -- which is why I preferred the likes of Sandy Becker, Sonny Fox and Jan Murray. They would toss out one-liners that were above most kids' heads and I enjoyed it when I got the joke. Made me feel grown up Cool
