It was Amos 'n Andy without the racism.

Freeman Gosden and Charlie Correll(The two talented comedy performers and craftsmen..who created "Amos & Andy"for radio and for tv)were the voices of "Calvin & The Colonel".

I remember watching "Calvin & The Colonel" Saturday
nights on ABC TV back in the early 1960's.

Despite what people have said about this cartoon
show..This show is funny,charming and entertaining.

I'm sorry that this series is not on tv anymore..and
I wish that it was on dvd.SmileCryWink
