Sadly..one of the actors..who appeared in both "Absent Minded Professor" and "Son Of Flubber"..Mr.Elliot Reid ..who played "Prof. Ned Brainerd's" (Mr. Fred MacMurray's) rival for his wife "Betsy's" (Ms. Nancy Olson's) affections.."Prof. Shelby Ashton"..passed away recently.
I saw "The Son Of Flubber"..when it was rereleased as a part of "The Disney Summer Hit parade" at The Dale Movie Theater in the Bronx,NYC back in the 1970's. I enjoyed this sequel to the first film that featured the cast members from "The Absent Minded Professor" and some wonderful per- formances by some guest character actors.
