Yes those old ads made a good chuckle and did get your attention.Yes today's world takes everything way too serious and wives in the 50's and 60's did a spanking now and then . Most loved their hubbys too for taking charge!

They were tongue-in-cheek even then, designed to elicit a chuckle. No one took them seriously. Today everything is taken seriously
