LOL! These were great for pre teens who wanted to "act cool" back in the early 60's puffing on a candy cigarette.

My favourite candy cigarettes were made with hard black licorice tubes wrapped in cigarette paper.

At the age of 11 I wised up gave up on those disgusting candy cigarettes...started swiping a pack of real ones from the carton in my Dad's truck. Ahhh the memories of 1961 and the worst spanking I got when I got busted for stealing. LOL
Yes, I also recall the red tips and blowing them to create the "smoke" effect. I am typing this and it springs to mind the brand I saw in the 1970s were "Popeye Cigarettes" (?)

Didn't they have a red tip to look like it was glowing tobacco ?? They didn't taste too good, but we liked to act like we were smoking !!

i still buy these for the neices not the same taste though
