I remember my first Sony Walkman. These days, the Walkman is an .mp3 player.

My brother got one of these from a friend in 1979. I could not believe the sound quality.

IMHO this item is not really boomer. 1979 is too late. I consider it GenX. I think the year and technology put it after boomer. Just my 2¢. It doesn't get my boomer nostalgia revved up at all. :-)
