I remember these, most especially the magenta 4 cent version. My dad had a mail order stamp business that sold 'mission mixtures' world wide...one of our jobs when we came home from school was to sort 50 lb potato sacks of stamps into separate piles of commemoratives, foreign and common stamps...obviously these were the most common and worthless...

In the 1950's The New York City Board of Education had its own unique postcards with this stamp (or very similar) pre-printed right on it the card. Saved the school secretaries lots of labor when they had to do a mass mailing.

Must still have one of 'em around here somewhere.

I liked these and the more technicolor 8 cent version

Hi, Diana.  Sorry, but the BBeM site doesn't have anything for sale.  We just offer memories, and they're free.  Good luck with the party; I'm planning a hat-themed surprise party for my wife in a couple of weeks. (Good thing she doesn't read these comments!)

Hi, I am planning a 50's themed engagement party with a Western Union invitation. I would love to know how much you are asking for these stamps? Thank you!
