I feel honored to have lived in New York and to have rooted for the Yankees when these guys were playing. They were legends in their own time. On the other hand... my dad brought me to a Yankees game once. Our seats were somewhere behind third base, on the aisle, and we had to keep passing cups of beer to a group of guys in the middle of the row. The whole stadium stank of stale beer, and the experience turned me off to beer, although not to attending baseball games.
